Adagio

Combining comfort with style within an excellent floorplan, Adagio is an inviting five-bedroom villa on Mahoe Beach.

This elegant home is designed as two spacious pavilions bisected by a very private sun deck and pool. Adagio's three-level main pavilion houses the generous Great Room, graced by a beautiful gourmet kitchen and dining area with a covered deck with a wet bar and gas grill just outside.

The Great Room is also the gathering place for friends and family, with stylish but comfortable sofas and chairs placed around a media center filled with movies, CDs and games. Bananas

Bananas is a comfortable air coditioned studio located on the waterfront at Little Apple Bay. There is a queen bed and a single bed, full kitchen and bath. The patio overlooks the sea, however, there is no access here. You walk down the street about 5 minutes to the sand.

The Bayside House offers one of the most central locations in Cane Garden Bay. It is within a two minute walk to numerous beachfront restaurants, bars and the famous Cane Garden Bay beach. Bayside is two upstairs units of a crisp white octagon shaped home. The units have their own off-street parking area and a private entrance. The Bomba Shack, home of the famous or infamous "Full Moon Party" and Tortola's Surf Break is a three minute walk down the beach. We really love this beautifully-designed villa. Boulder Crest is situated on a lush, private hillside in Nail Bay, surrounded by and completely secluded within tropical trees, palms and bright flora, and tucked into the large, dramatic boulders for which Virgin Gorda is famous. A native stone staircase winds up to Boulder Crest's air-conditioned Great Room pavilion from the ample parking area. The spacious Great Room's living area shares space with an expansive open kitchen and dining area, and comfortable rattan furnishings are well grouped for conversation and relaxation. Glass slider doors on all four sides of the Great Room pavilion showcase breathtaking panoramas of Caribbean greenery and of blue ocean beyond, and one side opens to the pool and large wraparound sun deck just outside. On the opposite side, the kitchen area conveniently opens to the adjacent dining pavilion just outside, set for outdoor dining within a bower of lovely trees and flowers, with a handy gas grill nearby. Just beyond this covered pavilion is a staircase to the private air-conditioned master bedroom pavilion, offering a king bed with a large, smooth boulder at its head, and a large ensuite bath and beautiful stone alfresco shower under the trees. A magnificent 5-1/2-acre peninsula is the site of this historic island property - Gun Point's exceptional location within a private estate on this promontory provides a profound sense of peace and solitude.

The very top of Gun Point was long ago used as a cannon emplacement which fired out to sea at pirate ships venturing too near the coastline.

Now a nature trail leads to this serene and breezy spot for cocktails at sunset, with superb sea views of passing yachts and green islets and cays.

This very English estate was built in 1969 around Gun Point's original 18th-century gunpowder store; as there were no roads in those days, all building materials had to be brought in by sea to Gun Point's jetty and then trotted to the site by a donkey named Liz.

This dock nowadays is the perfect spot for snorkeling and swimming, and the estate is still in the family. The property was completely renovated in 2005 to a high standard of updated luxury, reviving the holiday magic enjoyed at Gun Point decades ago.

Gun Point now offers five new air-conditioned bedrooms in two pavilions, all facing out to sea and built adjacent to the new state-of-the-art low-chemical pool.

The Main House comprises the living area, equipped with a high-end media system, and a custom kitchen which opens out to a covered living/dining terrace with a built-in gas grill. This spacious terrace looks out to the beach at Smugglers Cove.

Gun Point's air-conditioned bedrooms are all named in a British family tradition: in the Main House, the king master bedroom/bath suite, which is built within the original gunpowder store, is "Union."

This suite has its own private terrace and also accesses the main terrace. "Jack" is the other bedroom/bath suite, which also has french doors opening to the main terrace.

Steps from the covered terrace lead to the infinity-edge pool and sun deck and to an outdoor shower. Three paths then thread through tropical landscaping - to the private dock with a boathouse for shade and steps for easy access into the ocean, to the top of the Point, and through the garden to the beautiful white sands of next-door Smugglers Cove beach.

A native stone walkway connects to Gun Point's Guest Pavilion, with three more bedrooms and a study: "Fish," a king suite, and "Chips," a suite with a king or two twin beds, both have air-conditioning, ensuite baths and private terraces. And "Salt" is the double-bed bedroom which shares the bath with "Chips." On the slightly-lower level is "Pepper," offering a study with air-conditioning, a home office with computer, a double sofabed and a half bath with a covered alfresco shower just outside - perfect for teenagers.

Perched on the very top of a mountain in Towers Estate on the southwest end of Tortola, High Point Villa is in a world of its own. It offers 360 degree views from the top garden. This very elegant two bedroom two bath villa offers all the comforts and privacy that a discerning vacationer would require. As one enters the central part of this villa, one is struck by a vista of yachts sailing the channel between Tortola and St John. It is the scene that you will experience while you prepare your meals in the gourmet style kitchen, while lounging in the living room- a split level below the kitchen- and every other room in the villa. Each bedroom suite is tastefully decorated and is on the east and west of the central part of the villa. Each bath has an outdoor shower and a solar hot water heater. The master bedroom suite is positioned between the Jacuzzi and the swimming pool. The living room also flows onto an outdoor bar and the swimming pool. For those moments that the main power supply is off, there is a back up solar electric supply.

Indigo House

Indigo House is a two-story, beach-house bungalow located on one of the best soft sand beaches in Tortola (probably one of the best beaches in the Caribbean). You can swim, snorkel, sunbathe or kayak in the crystal blue waters of Cane Garden Bay -- right outside your door. The house has a sea kayak that is free for guests to use. Sailing and windsurfing equipment is available for rent on the beach. Originally built by an artist as his Caribbean retreat and art studio, Indigo House is done in traditional West Indian style architecture. Indigo is with an assortment of colorful tropical fabrics and artwork. Indigo House has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms: one bedroom and bathroom upstairs and one bedroom and bathroom off the back courtyard. Both have queen size beds and plenty of space. The combination living/dining area comes furnished with a sofa, comfortable chairs and includes cable TV and a stereo with a CD and a tape player. The kitchen is also fully furnished and includes a coffee maker, a toaster and a blender. Just off the kitchen area is a second bathroom with a shower. The front deck looks out over the bay with a beachfront hammock and a wooden, picnic-style table and chairs. Cane Garden Bay in Tortola truly has one of the finest beaches in the world and has numerous restaurants, bars and boutiques located along its shores. You will find just about everything you need at the Sunset Bar and Groceries. Bobby's Market is located in Cane Garden. There's also an ice cream shop on the beach, next to Paradise Pub. For food and fun, you only have to walk a few hundred yards to either Myett's Garden & Grill or Quito's. Both have great food and great live entertainment.

Island Magic

Ideally situated on one of the choicest sites on Mahoe Bay, spectacular views are enjoyed from every spot, both inside and outside the villa - yet it is only steps to the secluded Mahoe Bay. Katitche Point Greathouse

Katitche Point Greathouse is a secluded, small holiday village in its own right and includes the main house in pyramid shape, four large suites, and an additional, even more spacious master bedroom, each with an en-suite bath and private verandah with breathtaking sea views. The pyramid-shaped main house, visible from far offshore, is eleven meters (34') high and offers space for social gatherings as well as reclusion on three levels. The lowest level features a superbly decorated living area with comfortable English couches, teak dining table seating up to 14 people, BOSE stereo system with an extensive CD collection, and a professional kitchen meeting the most exacting standards. Right on the shoreline of Little Apple Bay. Perfect location; it is two doors from Sebastian's Restaurant, a three minute walk to Bomba Shack and Coco Plums. Watch the surf break....the amount of sand does vary during the winter months due to the sea conditions. It is the upstairs apartment with two queen bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, living room and a small balcony overlooking the beach. Kumbies place is in Little Apple Bay village. Long Bay is a 10-15 minute walk over the hill. Bomba Shack is a three minute walk. Coco Plums and Sebastian's restaurants and bars are a two minute walk.

Lavenda Breeze

Lavenda Breeze is an extraordinary villa on the fantastic island of Anegada in the British Virgin Islands. Anegada lies 12 miles north of Virgin Gorda and Tortola and is the most remote of the BVIs. Living Room: The furnishings are all of top quality...designed in collaboration with Linda Warren, of Warren-Sutton, Inc. NYC. Other ventures of theirs include Peter Island and Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda. There are unique pieces by contemporary names such as Michael Taylor, McGuire, and Pompeii. Also included, are a few antique pieces of Balinese, Italian and French origin. The overall feel is elegant, but completely relaxed and very low maintenance. Wood, metal and canvas pieces were chosen for durability in the tropical climate. The Living room and Master Bedroom are on Cable TV. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with Calphalon cookware, china, glasses, bread machine, blender, food processor, etc. The water system utilizes two separate solar heaters with an electrical back-up water heater that has never been needed. The water source is rainwater stored in two cisterns with an overall capacity of 40,000 gallons. Water may also be purchased from various sources on island, if preferred. The appliances were chosen for durability and quality. Viking, SubZero, Asko , DCS and Mitsubishi are all used in the house

Loblolly

The Peach Cottage has a secluded setting and is just minutes to restaurants, shopping and the North Shore, Long Bay and Smugglers Cove Beaches. Sade (Sha-day) is set back just 200 yards from Tortola�s famous Smugglers Cove Beach! Sade is only two years old and is privately located just off the main road and behind a grove of local genip shade trees. It is a quick walk to the white sand, coconut palm lined beach of Smuggler�s Cove. Sade�s two-story Main House and the Guest Cottage are connected by a lovely garden walkway. The pool and surrounding sun deck separates the Main house and Guest Cottage. Privacy at the pool is provided by a screen of mature trees and landscaping. The palm flanked pool is surrounded with ample decking with large comfy chaise loungers. Shifting Sands

Shifting Sands downstairs unit is located directly on the beach at Little Apple Bay. The amount of sand varies during the winter months thus the name Shifting Sands. Although the beach at Shifting Sands in the summer months is heavenly. The Master bedroom has a king bed and a bath en suite. The second bedroom/bath suite is a bit smaller than the master. The bedrooms are separated by the living room and kitchen areas giving privacy between the two bedroom suites. Adjoining is the galley type kitchen with an electric cooktop, fridge, coffee maker,cookware, etc. The huge patio with expansive views and just step away from the sand and sea is perfect for sun lovers and surf watchers. There is ample patio furnishings, alfresco dining and a BBQ grill. Within a three minute walk are Sugar Mill, Coco Plum restaurants and bars and the Bomba Shack. Long Bay and Smuggler's Cove beaches are a short drive away. The upstairs and downstairs units are perfect for large families or groups. Both can accommodate up to 8 guest. Combined with Big Apple next door, these two houses can accommodate 16 adults and 4 children.

South Sound

A very special waterfront villa on its own private peninsula, this 6-bedroom home sits at the end of Mattie Point, with water on three sides and Gorda Peak behind. South Sound is a spectacular secluded area of Virgin Gorda, where you hear the waves breaking on the reef and your neighbors are pelicans, turtles and fish. To one side you'll see the Hurricane Hole and to the other is Great Hill. On the far side of Great Hill are fun places to visit such as Biras Creek, Saba Rock, and Bitter End Yacht Club. Swim in the infinity edge pool overlooking the sound or snorkel off the private dock to some of the best underwater viewing on the island. If you're a little more adventuresome, take the villa�s rubber dingy out to the 5000 foot reef for more snorkeling fun or motor over to the Hurricane Hole for exploration. Thrill seekers may even want to try out the villa�s sailboard on the Sound. The Main House The rental vacation villa has been designed to let the ocean breezes and sunlight surround you. The Mexican clay tile main floor is a free flowing area, including a living room with a built-in CD entertainment system, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with a seating bar for drinks. Double French doors along both front and back of the villa open to beautiful ocean views. A 12 foot wide covered front deck stretching the entire length of the house is a great place for a casual lunch, a romantic candlelit dinner or your afternoon nap in the hammock or chaise. The 8 foot wide garden deck, with propane BBQ, will give you all the sun you want. Even the main floor bathroom extends into the outdoors, through sliding glass doors to the glass block enclosed double shower. The U-shaped kitchen is equipped with a large side-by-side ice maker refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and electric self cleaning range. A complete set of kitchen utensils, small appliances and cookware is provided as well as glasses/dinnerware for 16. We also maintain a large selection of spices and basic condiments/supplies for your use. The Pool The horizon edge 12,000 gallon pool is 5ft to 8ft deep with its own rock waterfall and lots of tile decks all overlooking South Sound. If you want to lounge near the pool, but be out of the sun, enjoy the additional covered deck, which also has a 50 inch table, four more chairs and an entrance to the lower shower. Pool Wing Our pool wing has four more bedrooms and two bathrooms in a separate structure, connected by a bridge to the Main House and overlooking the pool. Ta-Pocketa's private pool overlooks lush tropical gardens, Leverick Bay beach and the North Sound. It's only a few steps down the path to the beach for great snorkeling and swimming. The private stone patio garden dining area includes a barbeque grill. Ta-Pocketa's spacious cathedral ceilinged great room includes a living area with entertainment center overlooking the sea. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and stone bar for great entertaining.The glass sunroom overlooks the pool and the North Sound. Dine in the sunroom at the elegant rattan and glass dining table while you experience the cool tropical trade winds off the sea. Ta-Pocketa's King Master Bedroom is in its own wing of the villa and overlooks the gardens and the North Sound. The master bath includes a spacious glass-block shower. Ta-Pocketa's Guest Bedroom is in the opposite wing of the villa and includes two twin beds that can be combined to form a king. The Great Room is furnished with an eclectic mixture of African, wicker, marble and stone. The main seating area includes a large screen TV, VCR and DVD. The formal dining table comfortably seats ten. Three outdoor dining tables allow for al fresco dining for fourteen on the covered patio. Villa Tamar offers up to five private bedrooms on two separate levels, each with walk-in closet, bath en-suite and private balconies or patios. Tara

Beautifully designed in the West Indian style and lavishly equipped, just-completed Tara sits at the end of a tranquil neighborhood road for excellent seclusion. Overlooking lovely sea views and perfectly sited to refreshing trade winds, this four-pavilion property is arranged hillside in a private garden setting. From the parking area, a staircase leads up to Tara's generous terrace and to the pool and jacuzzi. Tara's first pavilion, on the west side of the pool and terrace, is outfitted as a romantic air-conditioned king suite with a 4-poster canopy bed, TV and DVD player, a large balcony and an alfresco stone shower. The larger main pavilion on the opposite side of the pool and terrace comprises the Great Room where you can snuggle into the overstuffed couches and watch your favorite TV programs or listen to music through the Bose surround sound system. Just outside the Great Room is a breezy covered outdoor living area overlooking ocean vistas. This wraparound verandah also borders the superbly-equipped gourmet kitchen, which opens out to the pool terrace. Here you'll find a thatched tiki bar, the perfect spot for those island rum cocktails. Adjoining the Great Room on the east side is a covered garden pavilion with a fountain, set for dining with views through arched windows of the sparkling sea beyond. Just off the dining terrace is the third pavilion with an air-conditioned office equipped with a computer with DSL line and a printer/scanner/fax. A double sofabed shares space within the study. The adjoining bathroom then connects directly to Tara's second air-conditioned queen bedroom suite, which opens to a private deck and small garden just outside. Tara's fourth pavillion, an air-conditioned king suite with its own balcony, is just to the northernmost side and has an exotic alfresco stone shower. Done up in Caribbean colors and accented with cool tile floors, brick, and by beautiful native stone walls and planters surrounding tropical flora, this island-style haven's interiors flow gracefully out to the delightful picture-perfect tableau just beyond its archways and doors. The Refuge

The Refuge is an intimate boutique hotel consisting of eight private, luxury villas nestled in Brewers Bay oceanfront hillside. A nature path from the hillside residences provides access to the secluded white sand beach. In desiging the refuge, our goal was to create a secluded, contemporary dwelling where tranquility and comfort coexist. We were mindful not to disturb the natural beauty of the hillside while providing a level of modernity to this pristine retreat. In designing this resort community, care and necessary measures were also taken to preserve our ocean�home to some of Tortola�s natural reefs.

Toa Toa House

Unforgettable blue ocean views with a lovely sunset each evening are yours at this impressive property. A road winds up into the breezy, green hills of Tortola's south coast to this stunning villa and to one of the island's most magnificent seascapes. Toa-Toa is built as five pavilions arranged around the dramatic pool set in a sunny deck. Three pavilions border the pool deck: the central Great Room offers a convenient wet bar, all media, and two very plush overstuffed sofas for lounging; eclectic teak pieces and a variety of accessories gathered from world travels accent this living area. One of Toa-Toa's four king master bedroom/bath suites - this one with an indoor/outdoor garden shower and a romantic four-poster bed - is situated directly above the Great Room. On one end of the pool deck is the alfresco dining area in a shady lanai; it adjoins a country-style kitchen, with a billiard room just next door. At the opposite end is the third pavilion with a second king suite; the third and fourth king bedroom suites are in two additional pavilions (one above and one below), both easily accessible by steps from the pool deck. All four bedrooms are very spacious and well separated for serene privacy, and each offers its own individual mini-fridge, coffeemaker and a private covered balcony. Villa Della Palme

Villa Della Palme is one of the British Virgin Islands most elegant and gracious homes and boasts some of the most spectacular landscaping in the BVI. Designed by Jon Osman who is also responsible for Richard Branson��s Necker Island mansion,it was professionally decorated for use as a private residence. The Villa has just been completely refurbished and is being made available for vacation renters when the owners are not using it. The Villa sits on two acres overlooking Brewer's Bay on Tortola's lush northwest side. Electronic gates open to a long, palm-lined driveway that leads to covered parking adjacent to the Villa. Built on three levels, the Villa's entry floor includes a great room, a master suite and a office. The great room has 3 walls of custom mahogany windows that offer stunning, almost unbelievable views. French doors doors open to a classic West Indian verandah for alfresco dining or sitting and enjoying the view of the glorious gardens, the islands in t...he distance, the endless ocean, the sound of tropical birdsong and the cool trade winds. The great room also includes a formal dining area, a well equipped kitchen with custom mahogany cabinets, a formal sitting area and an area for viewing TV and DVD's. The main level's east wing includes an office with a powder room, and a beautifully furnished, air-conditioned master suite with a newly redone large master bath that includes a shower, a bathtub, a double vanity and picture window views of the landscaping. The master suite also offers a private balcony with views of the garden and the sea. The second level of the Villa is the west wing,a1/2 a flight of stairs below the main level. The west wing is entered through a 3 story tall tower and a corridor. Both are filled with antique prints of flora and marine life, pastel drawings and oil paintings. The west wing includes the Terracotta Suite and the Monkey Suite. Both are air-conditioned, queen bedded suites with private baths. Both of these suites enjoy private, vine covered balconies looking out to the sparkling ocean. Another 1/2 level down is the air-conditioned Patio Suite. It is furnished with two queen beds and has a private bath. The Patio suitre gives direct access to the large pool patio. The tile floors throughout the Villa are strewn with oriental rugs and the walls covered with antique prints of Caribbean life, plant life, sea life, original pastel drawings, oil paintings and tapestries.The furnishings thoughout the Villa are of first quality, mostly manufactured by Baker, one of America's premiere furniture companies. . A few steps down from the 3rd level is the Patio. Completely private and surrounded by thre Villa's landscaping and garden the patio is a space where the entire day can be spent by a couple or a family. There is an outdoor sound system for music everywhere on the patio level. The center section of the Patio includes a full size swimming pool that is from 3 to 7 feet deep, a shaded sitting area and a hammock. To the east and up 4 steps is the outdoor dining patio. It includes a built-in barbeque grill, a second kitchen/bar that supports the barbeque grill and a custom made, tile-top dining tavle that seats up to 6 people. A stone path leads from the east ewnd of the dining patio into a small fruit- tree orchard and then into the Villa's terraced garden. On the west side of the swimming pool is an area for sunbathing. It includes four chaise-longe and another custom made dining table that seats 4 people. First class in every way, Villa Della Palme is highly recommended by former guests.

Villa Valmarc

Situated only a short stroll from the pristine white sand beach of Mahoe Bay, this very private and just-refurbished four-bedroom villa offers a two-bedroom main pavilion flanked by Wendy's Watch, a two-bedroom guest house. In the main house, the Great Room encompasses the living area and the kitchen with its center island and dining area; on either side are two air-conditioned bedroom/bath suites. All rooms open out to a covered area for dining and shady relaxation on the stone pool terrace. The two-story air-conditioned guest cottage offers a twin suite, and its upper floor is a complete studio apartment with a king bed and small kitchen. This property is graced by a freeform swimming pool, sunset views of several nearby islands, and lush landscaping with a variety of fruit trees and tropical flowers.

Vista Del Mare

Serenely set into the hillside above the aqua blue waters of the North Sound, Vista del Mare commands expansive vistas and dramatic sunsets. Although a favorite with the honeymooners for its complete privacy, Vista del Mare is a luxurious two bedroom with accommodations for up to five guests. Both bedrooms feature bathrooms en suite, covered patios and are separated from each other by a pool and sun deck area. The spacious living-dining area adjoin an open, fully equipped modern kitchen. All guests of Vista del Mare are welcome to use the beach and tennis facilities of the Leverick Bay Resort, just a short distance away. A car rental is recommended.

Vista Villa

Overlooking the Leverick Bay Resort, Vista Villa is a unique 2 story vacation villa offering a spectacular view of North Sound, Mosquito Island and the Caribbean beyond. There are accommodations for 6 people. The upstairs floor plan includes the dining area, kitchen and 2 bedrooms (both with king-sized beds) with private baths. Adding to the feeling of airy space, generous circular verandah surrounds the upstairs ocean side of Vista Villa. The ground floor (connected by an exterior staircase) has another bedroom (with 2 twins) a private bath, entertainment area and a wet bar.
