Can I start my stay on any day of the week?
Yes, with the exception of a few villas that are clearly indicated. Most visitors tend to arrive on Saturday or Sunday but there is no requirment to do so at the majority of our Caribbean Villas.

How do Caribbean villa prices compare to a hotel?
If you take the weekly villa rental rate and divide it by seven (7) you get a nightly rate. Divide that by the number of bedrooms and you get the rate per night per room. When you look at the cost in these terms and consider how much more you get with a Caribbean villa, you will see that it is price competitive with the best hotels.

Can I stay beyond the 7 day rental period?
You can book a Caribbean vacation villa for any period of a week or more subject to availability. Fractional weeks beyond the minimum are prorated on a daily basis.

What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?
Please refer to your specific villa rental agreement for this information. Additionally Purple Pineapple offers travel insurance which is HIGHLY recommended. Please inquire about this additional offering when making your reservation.

What about children?
Children are always welcomed, but certain villas are better for families than others. On the other hand, children are restricted from some villas for safety reasons. Please refer to individual villa rental descriptions regarding children and possible signed waiver requirments.

How do I get to Tortola in the British Virgin Islands?
From the USA fly to St. Thomas(STT) and take one of the three Ferry Services. Or fly to Beef Island(EIS) via San Juan , Puerto Rico on American Eagle, Liat, Caribbean Star, Air Sunshine and Cape Air.

How do I get to Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands?
Once on Tortola; Two ferries leave from the Port in Road Town Tortola and from Beef Island Tortola to North Sound Virgin Gorda. From St. Thomas : Air Sunshine or Air St. Thomas. From San Juan daily on Air Sunshine or Air St. Thomas.

How do I get to Jost Van Dyke?
The ferry from West End, Tortola offers daily trips to and from Jost Van Dyke.
